Shudder: What you need to know about it

Shudder is a horror-focused streaming service that’s available in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland. You can watch it on your TV or on your computer. It also works with some of the more popular streaming devices like Roku, PlayStation and Xbox One. The company keeps adding new content to its library (including classics like “The Babadook” and some Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequels), so there’s always something new to watch.

Shudder aims to cater to both casual and hardcore horror fans.

Shudder operates in a similar way other entertainment websites do: similarly to online casinos that offer bonus codes like NetBet Bonus Code or sign-up promotional codes, Shudder offers discounts and a free trial for newcomers! That being said, Shudder is a great choice for those who are new to the genre and looking to expand their horizons.

If you’re already a horror fan, or if you want something more intense than Netflix’s offerings, Shudder might be worth checking out as well. The website offers a wide range of films from around the world, including many international directors and performers whose work may not otherwise be available in America due to distribution restrictions or censorship laws. It even offers horror movie documentaries, how cool is that?

Shudder has a large collection of movies and TV shows, some of which are exclusive to the service.

As a Netflix-style streaming service, it has a lot of content to choose from. The company’s library includes movies like The Witch and Night of the Living Dead, as well as dozens of other classic titles that will keep you entertained for hours—and if you’re looking for more than just horror? The site also boasts hundreds of other genres in its catalog.

You can access Shudder through the free standalone app, or if your cable provider offers it as an add-on option.

Shudder offers three different streaming plans: monthly, 3-month and annual.

The monthly plans range from $4.75 to $19.99 per month (although the most expensive plan is only available in the United States). If you choose one of Shudder’s 3-month or annual plans, you won’t have to worry about paying more than once every three months or 12 months respectively. Both plans cost the same amount as the regular monthly subscription plan—$19.99 per month in this case—but they save some money by giving you discounts over time depending on how far into your membership you are. The more time that has passed since signing up with Shudder, the cheaper it gets, which is a nice loyalty program you have to agree.

Annual subscribers will cost between $56.99 and $99.99 per year based on which plan you select when signing up for their membership on Shudder’s website. But if you want to experiment with Shudder, go for the monthly package, as you can cancel at any time if you don’t like the service or it doesn’t fit your needs. There are no hidden fees, no commitment, and no cancellation fee—aside from what you might be charged if you already paid for the annual fee, which is a very common practice.
